The Autism Research Institute (ARI), a non-profit organization, was established in 1967. For more than 40 years, ARI has devoted its work to conducting research, and to disseminating the results of research, on the triggers of autism and on methods of diagnosing and treating autism. ARI provides research-based information to parents and professionals around the world.
AutismOne and its initiatives educate more than 100,000 families every year about autism prevention, recovery, safety, and change. Their website provides forums, blogs and information for families about autism, recent articles, places for donation, etc. It is a major support system for parents where they can talk to one another via blogs about autism in children, teens and adults.
The Autism Society of America is a leading grassroots autism organization, existing to improve the lives of all affected by autism. They do this by increasing public awareness about the day-to-day issues faced by people on the spectrum, advocating for appropriate services for individuals across their lifespan, and providing the latest information regarding treatment, education, research and advocacy.
Talk About Curing Autism (TACA) provides information, resources, and support to families affected by autism. For families who have just received the autism diagnosis, TACA aims to speed up the cycle time from the autism diagnosis to effective treatments. TACA helps to strengthen the autism community by connecting families and the professionals who can help them, allowing them to share stories and information to help people with autism be the best they can be.

Founded by Jenny McCarthy and Jim Carrey, Generation Rescue is an international movement of scientists, physicians and parent-volunteers researching the causes and treatments for autism and helping more than 20,000 children begin biomedical treatment.
